PEARL SYSAK (nee NYKOLUK) Pearl passed away peacefully at the age of 85 years on Wednesday, April 30, 2008 at Maples Personal Care Home. Pearl is survived by her children, Bill (Linda) and Jerry (Pat); five grandchildren, Christine Fisette (Marcel), Kyle (Michelle), Jared, Greg, and Brad; two great-grandchildren, Taelyn and Gavin Fisette. Pearl is also survived by her brothers, John (Helen) and Alex; sisters, Nellie Trochim and Lorraine Wyatt (Jim) and numerous nieces and nephews. Pearl was predeceased by her husband Bill, as well as two brothers, and two sisters. The family extends their thanks to the staff at Maples Personal Care Home for their care and support. Funeral service will be held on Monday, May 5 at 11:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Interment to follow at Holy Family Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Pearl's memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 6 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6.
