JOSEPH E. THOMSON Peacefully, on Monday, September 29, 2008, at Park Manor Personal Care Home, Joe Thomson passed away at the age of 74 years. Joe will be lovingly remembered by his beloved wife Georgette; daughter Lori Thomson; son Rob Thomson; grandchildren, David, Trevor, Matthew and Julianna; sister Betty Fredericks of Washington; brother Bill of BC. Joe was born, raised and lived his life in Winnipeg and for the past 44 years in Transcona. Joe worked with C.N. as a truck driver until 1973, then as a warehouseman until his retirement in 1995 after 31 years of service. He was considered a handyman who loved woodworking; making furniture and flowerpots. He was known for his daily walks or bike rides around Transcona. Cremation has taken place and a family gathering has been held. Special thanks are extended to Seven Oaks Hospital, Unit 3U10 and Park Manor Personal Care Home for their loving care and support.
