JOSEPHINE TARNOWSKY Josephine passed away peacefully at the age of 92 years at the Charleswood Care Centre on Saturday, October 4, 2008. Josie will be remembered by her children, Delores (Charles) Porquet, Phyllis (John) Rzesotko, Francis Sochasky, Adam (Joyce) Tarnowsky and Gerald (Dianne) Grabon. She is also survived by two brothers, Walter (Kay) Gregory and Philip (Mary) Gzegotski; her sister Alice (Dino) Ferretti; 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Josie was predeceased by her parents, Thomas and Pauline Gzegotski, brother Stan and sister Caroline. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, October 8, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel in Gimli, Manitoba. Interment of ashes will take place in the Sts. Cyril and Methodius Cemetery. The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to the staff and residents at the Lions Manor. In lieu of flowers, donations in Josie's memory can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba. Gilbart Funeral Home, Gimli in care of arrangements.
