KAREN MARY LINDSAY THOMSON
Born: Mar 10, 1966
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryKAREN MARY LINDSAY THOMSON It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our mother, daughter and sister Karen. Karen was born in Trinidad March 10, 1966. The family moved to Canada in 1970 and Karen lived in Winnipeg all her life. Beloved daughter of Don and Barbara-Ann, sister of Donald Lindsay, Kathy Hansen (Dana), and Robert Lindsay. She was predeceased by two brothers, Charles in 1964, and Bruce in 1989. Grandparents Lyle and Inez Lindsay and Winston and Mary Lyder. Karen will be sadly missed by her three sons, Bobby, Adam and Jason Thomson. Her many aunts, uncles and cousins, nieces Erika and Megan Hansen, Amanda and Aurora Lindsay, nephews, Ryan Lindsay and Matthew Hansen and her many friends. She had a joyous spirit and enjoyed riding her motorcycle. Karen was never afraid of dreaming big and chasing after those dreams with a certain exuberance that could not be rivalled. Karen was cremated and will be laid to rest at Green Acres Cemetery at a private family service. Memorial service will take place on Saturday, November 1, 2008 at Windsor Park United Church, at 2:30 p.m. with the Reverand Sharon Wilson officiating. Karen, we love you and may you rest in peace. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
