MAUREEN (MOE) PACHAL SYROWITZ On January 19, 2009 at Foothills Country Hospice, surrounded by her loving family and friends, Moe passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with Multiple Myeloma. She leaves to mourn her loving, devoted husband Glenn, their loving children, Jesse and Adina. Sisters, Barbie, Rhonda (Tim), brother Lionel (friend Karen). Glenn's mother Josie, his siblings Linda (Butch), Judy (John), Sidney, Patrick (Wendy) and Glenn's nephews, nieces, and great-niece. Moe was predeceased by parents Adina and Walter, father-in-law Ivan. Moe was born and raised in Manitoba, married and moved to Calgary eventually making Okotoks home. After her children entered the school system, Moe, being a stay-at-home Mom, volunteered at Good Shepherd, John Paul II and later became employed at both schools. A devoted, dedicated wife; a loving nurturing mother who guided her children in all aspects of their lives, Moe cherished each moment spent with family and friends enriching our lives with her wit and spontaneous humour. Her love of life will be our strength. Funeral Mass was celebrated at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, January 24, 2009 at St. James Church, 32nd Street East, Okotoks, AB Our thanks to Doctors and caregivers at Tom Baker Center, Dr. Eric Wasylenko and dedicated staff at Foothills Country Hospice. Special thanks to all who lent their support during this very difficult time.
