Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWILLIAM PALEY December 12, 1922 - September 24, 2009 It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our dad, and grandfather, William (Bill) Paley at Riverview Health Centre. He leaves to mourn his beloved wife Mary of 60 years, sons Bill (Brenda), Wayne (Lois), and Donald (Zina), grandchildren Nicole, Josh, Christine (Justin), Brad (Kim), Christopher, and great-grandson Christian. Dad was born to George and Sophie Paley in Theodore Saskatchewan. He was the oldest son in the family of twenty children. Dad left the family farm to make his way in life, settling in Winnipeg where he met and married the love of his life Mary. He worked very hard over the years eventually retiring as a machine operator and general foreman for a food processing plant in Winnipeg. He and his wife Mary were also caretakers for Sparling United Church for over 34 years. His passions were tinkering with cars, working on his hobby farm in Stuartburn Manitoba, maintaining the cottage at Winnipeg Beach, and also being involved with projects around his sons' homes and above all else having the whole family over for great holiday dinners. The family would like to thank the staff at Riverview Health Centre for their compassion and care over the years. A private family service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice. Glen Eden Funeral Home 338-7111 Family and friends are invited to sign the Book of Condolences at www.gleneden-mb.ca
