JOYCE THOMPSON Unexpectedly on Thursday, October 15, 2009 in the Health Sciences Centre at the age of 81 years. Joyce graduated in 1948 with a degree in Interior Design from the University of Manitoba. She was a member of Alpha Delta Pi Sorority and a member of the Junior League of Winnipeg and Architects Wives Association and spent many years volunteering for various organizations. She leaves to mourn her passing her loving husband of 61 years, Ralph; her daughter Nancy (Ian) Church of Whitehorse; her son Steven of Winnipeg and her grandchildren, Amber (Tyler) and Craig. A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 23, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at Thomson In the Park Cemetery. The family wishes to express their deepest gratitude to the doctors and staff at the Health Sciences Centre for their care and compassion.
