CARLOS VINARAO TAMACA SR. The family announces the passing of Carlos Vinarao Tamaca Sr. on January 6, 2010 at the Health Sciences Centre at the age of 74 years. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife Amalia, children Thess Saromo, Cesar Tamaca (Wilma), Carlos Tamaca Jr. Jon Jon (Liezl), Maricel Agbay (Derek), grandchildren Honey, Ace, Charlene, Jaylee, John Patrick, Justin Carl, Julian, Joshua and Yvan. Brother Claro, sisters Lourdes and Soledad, brothers-in-law Ruben Saulog (Maring), Jose Saulog as well many nieces and nephews and friends in Canada, United States and the Philippines. He was predeceased by his son-in-law Ramir Saromo. Lamay will be held on Thursday and Friday January 14 and 15, 2010, from 6:00 p.m. to midnight at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Funeral mass will be on Saturday, January 16, 2010 at St. Edward's Roman Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow in the Philippines. The family would also like to thank the Health Sciences Centre and staff at GD4, Rev. Fr. Sarce at St. Edwards Roman Catholic Church, Nanay Lily Canuto for her weekly service, all of Carlos's health care aides who looked after him at home and to all the people who came to visit him at home and in the hospital.
