Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySTELLA SYNYCHYCH (nee Samec) It is with great sadness, we announce the peaceful passing of Stella Synychych at the age of 88 years, February 25, 2010 in the comfort of her home. Stella was born in Winnipeg on October 28, 1921. She is survived by her devoted husband of 60 years Nick, loving sons Walter (Louise), Bill (Jocelyne) and Peter (Lori). She will also be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by her grandson Paul, granddaughters Leann, Jennifer, Lee, Chelsea, Nicole and five great-grandchildren and many nephews, nieces, great-nephews and great-nieces. Stella was predeceased by her parents Harry and Anna, her brother William and twin sister Mary. Prayers will be said on Tuesday, March 2, at 7:00 p.m., St. Joseph's Ukrainian Catholic Church, 250 Jefferson Ave. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, March 3, at 10:00 a.m., Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. Interment will follow at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. The family welcomes you to join them for a reception following the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Stella to the Canadian Cancer Society of Manitoba. Special thanks are extended to the palliative care unit of St. Boniface Hospital as well as the home care nurses for all their loving care and support.
