LAURENCE FRANK TANNER On Wednesday, April 28, 2010, peacefully, with his family at his side, Laurence Tanner passed away at the age of 79. He was predeceased by his sister Doris (Tom) Norgate of Dryden, ON. He will be lovingly remembered by his beloved wife Joan; their daughters: Cynthia (Rick) van Driel, Lori (Glen) Lucier; his grandchildren: Evan and Stephanie van Driel, Elizabeth and Madeline Lucier, brothers and sister: Keith (Norma), Kenora, Phyllis (Jim) McCurren, St. Louis, MO, Jack (Kathy), Goodyear, AZ and their families. Laurence was born and raised in Kenora, ON. He was employed with the C.P.R. and retired in 1986. He was a Freemason since 1960 and was a member of Acacia Lodge 111. Laurence was a kind and gentle man who was especially proud of his grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:30 p.m., Thursday, May 6, 2010, St. Saviours Anglican Church, Monroe at Grey Street. Flowers are respectfully declined. Glen Lawn Funeral Home 982-7550
