ALEX PHILLIP TANASICHUK It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Alex on Sunday, May 16, 2010 at the age of 74. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife Margaret of 52 years, his children, Chris, Shelley (Jeff), Allan; three grandchildren, Michael, Kristen, Erin; three great-grand-children, Taylor, Brayden, Trinity; brothers, Matt, Harold (Marg); sister Terry and numerous nieces and nephews. Alex grew up in Clanwilliam, MB. As a young man he had numerous jobs, and later found employment with the CPR as a railway conductor, which he truly enjoyed for 37 years. The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to the wonderful caring staff at the Grace Hospital CancerCare and Grace Hospice during his final days. At Alex's request a private family service was held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare. Chapel Lawn 885-9715
