Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryADELAIDE MARTIN (nee NARCSOWICH) August 19, 1925 - August 17, 2010 Peacefully on August 17, 2010, Mom passed away at Maples Personal Care Home, after a lengthy illness. Mom was predeceased by her husband of 62 years, Reinhard, her parents Nicholas and Mary, and her sister Jeannie. She leaves behind her son John (Dawna). Mom worked early in life and continued in her early years as a bookkeeper, then entered the workforce with the City of Winnipeg Law Department as a Clerk and Receptionist. Adelaide had a great love of her pets and was constantly seen throughout the North End walking her dogs. At Mom's requests there will be no service. Cremation has taken place and Mom has been laid to rest next to Reinhard. If so desired, donations can be made to an animal shelter of choice. The family wishes to thank the staff of Maples Personal Care Home who, for the last six years, have taken extremely good care of Mom. Glen Eden Funeral Home 338-7111

To echo my brother’s comment. What great times we had with Auntie Adelaide, Uncle Red and Cousin John. Part of the best family that I could ever hope for. Great memories, fun times.
