VALENTIN SYNENKO It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our father, grandfather, uncle, and life partner, Valentin Synenko. Left to cherish his memory are his sons Valentine (Patty), Greg (Tom), daughter Anna, grandson Josh and his loving partner Lorraine. Dad was born in Kiev, Ukraine and made Winnipeg his home in 1952. From his early days as a Lab instructor at the Medical College to his many years providing lab services at night for the General Hospital, he was a proud member of the medical services community in Winnipeg. He founded Unicity Laboratories and ran them until his early retirement. He went on to found Laboratory services on Harley Street in London, and returned home to Winnipeg upon retirement. In recent years Dad took pleasure in flower gardening and attending theatre. His latest passion was his new Imac and had recently completed his first video DVD including editing and adding a soundtrack. Respecting his wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service and celebration of his life will take place in the near future.
