AMADA IBARRA TAYLO 1909 - 2011 It is with great sadness that we the family of Amada Taylo announce her passing on January 5, 2011 at the age of 101 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her children Ofelia Legaspi (Sergio), Manuel Taylo (Gina), Herminia Urguelles (Armando); Elisa Gementiza (Raul); and daughter-in-law Regina Taylo. Grandchildren Teresa (Rodelio), Ruby, Ramoncito, Pia (Rodelio), Eric (Ethel), Michelle, Rochelle (Jason), Ronald, Robert, Renee, Rhea (Michael), Elizabeth (Bryan), Cecilia, Roberta, Crystal and Ricci; great grandchildren Cris, Amanda, Andrew, Jasmine, Aira, Johndel, Marc and Angela. She was predeceased by her mother and father; husband Felix; daughter Gloria; granddaughters Wendy and Carmela; son Bonifacio and all her brothers and sisters. Amada was born in Guagua, Pampanga, Philippines on November 7, 1909 and immigrated to Canada in August 1972. She was always known for her friendly smile and selflessness towards her family and friends. She cherished moments spent with her family and was surrounded by them during her final days. Viewing and prayer service (lamay) will be held at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street, West St. Paul on Thursday, January 13 and Friday, January 14, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. to Midnight. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, January 15, 2011 at 10:00 a.m., at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 250 Burrin Avenue, with Father Henryk Laciak officiating. Interment will follow at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. The family would like to thank the staff at Seven Oaks Hospital, especially the staff in the emergency ward and on the 5th floor, units 2 and 3.
