Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGEORGE (BUB) TABBERNOR June 22, 1933 January 11, 2011 It is with great sadness we share that, after a courageous battle, George passed away on January 11, 2011 with his family by his side. He leaves to mourn his loving wife Marilynn; daughter Tracey; adopted daughter and granddaughter Kim and Britt; brothers Al and Dennis (Christine); sister Colleen (Paul); step sister Pat (George) along with many nieces, nephews, extended family, friends, and Brutus. Most of his working years were spent in the sheet metal industry during which time he owned and operated Specialloy Industries. He retired to his paradise at Ingolf, Ontario in 2003. Ingolf was always known as his labour of love. Service will be held in Klassen Funeral Home on Saturday, January 15, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Winnipeg Pet Rescue Shelter, 3062 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3K 0Y1. We are privileged to know George. We recall a weekend at our cottage; George and our brother-in-law Alf traded jokes the entire time. Our sides ached from laughter. We think of George when we make onion soup, a ham casserole his favourite recipes. When we see a small dog in a vehicle we think of George, his beloved pet always with him in the car. Overtaking another vehicle during a car ride to Ingolf, "It's the overdrive that does it!" George and MANY good memories go together. He'll be one of the brightest stars up in the sky.
