Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryALICE MILDRED THORDARSON October 23, 1921 - February 2, 2011 It is with great sadness the family announces the sudden passing of Alice Thordarson on February, 2, 2011 at the Health Sciences Centre. Alice will be sadly missed by her son Tom (Sue), grandchild, Scott, great-grandchild Hayley, granddaughter Kirsten, great-grandchild Jordan; daughter Sylvia, grandchild Keri (Dave), great-grandchildren, Paul, Steven, Meagan (great-great-grandchild Kayden), Christopher, great-granddaughter Audrey, grandchild Kent (Marcie), great-grandchildren Zachary, Tyson; son Wayne (Barb), granddaughter Bridget, and her sister Lucy and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Tom, grandchild, Koreen, brother Fran, Geoffrey, Art, Randy, Joe, Ralph, sisters Ivy, Maude, Dorothy, Irene, Edna, Mary. Alice was born in Langruth, Manitoba where she married, and had three children being active in the school, Royal Purple, Lutheran Church teaching Sunday School. Tom and Alice moved to various national parks before retiring in Winnipeg where they bowled for many years. The time she enjoyed the most was spending time with her family. In keeping with Alice's wishes cremation has taken place with no church service. A graveside service will be held at The Big Point Cemetery at a later date. The family wishes to extend their sincere thanks to the doctors, nurses and aides at the Emergency and Observation units at Health Sciences Centre for their kindness and care. NEIL BARDAL INC.
