HANSA TAILOR (MRS. DINO) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Hansa Tailor at St. Boniface General Hospital on May 25, 2011. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Hansa was born in Mombassa, Kenya on April 8, 1949 and she would always carry a memory of this place close to her heart. In 1969 she immigrated to England and then to Canada in 1972. Hansa married Dinu Tailor in 1974 and they eventually settled in Winnipeg. In 1982, Hansa and her husband opened the doors of Dino's Grocery Mart which would grow to become a well known Winnipeg business. Due to her active involvement in the family business, Hansa was well known in several ethnic communities in Winnipeg. She will forever be remembered for her strong personality and generous nature. Hansa is survived by her husband, Dinu, son, Adarsh, daughter-in-law, Kripali, daughter, Neeti, son-in-law, Rajan, mother, Lalitaben Morar, mother-in-law, Shantaben, and beloved grandsons, Vaibhav, Aarav, and Yash. A memorial service will be held at Thomson In the Park Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Boulevard on Sunday, May 29, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. followed by a prayer service at the Hindu Temple on St. Anne's Road from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all those involved with Hansa's care on 5E at the St. Boniface General Hospital. Your compassionate care made this difficult time more bearable. Flowers are respectfully declined however a donation to the St. Boniface General Hospital in memory of Hansa Tailor would be greatly appreciated.
