Marion Thorarinson, beloved wife of the late Larus Thorarinson, passed away at the Midnapore Beverley Centre on July 9, 2011. She was the loving mother of Larus (Irene), Eugene (Sally), Verne (Sandy Miller), Richard, John (Deborah), Douglas; two grandchildren: Christina, Joel (Heather) Thorarinson and great grandchild Ariana. Marion was predeceased by her brother Melvin and sister Patricia. Marion was born in Winnipeg Manitoba. She married Larus in 1938. Together they moved to Riverton, Manitoba where they resided until 1962, when they moved with their family to Calgary, where she resided until her passing. A Funeral Service will be held at the Garden Road Seventh Day Adventist Church, 243107 Garden Road, 100 Street S.E., on Monday, July 18, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. Memorial Donations in Marion's name may be made directly to Calgary Central Seventh Day Adventist Church Fund, 1920 13th Avenue N.W., Calgary T2N 1L3 or to ADRA Canada by calling 1-888-274-2372.
