JEAN SZYMCZYNA Peacefully, on September 19, 2011, Jean Szymczyna, age 87 years, beloved wife of the late Emil, passed away at Seven Oaks Hospital. Jean is survived by her sons Wally and Randy, grandchildren David, Blair, and Cory, great-grandchildren Kerry, Caitlin, Kaiden, Tarryn and Kayla, brother Willy (Pat), sister-in-law Ann, and many nieces and nephews. Jean was predeceased by her husband Emil, daughter Sharon, grandson Darryl and great-grandson Tyler. Jean enjoyed her friends and family. To Jean, there was no such thing as a stranger, just people she had not met yet. She was an active member of the Selkirk Legion over 60 Club and enjoyed her time with friends and neighbours at Breezy Point. Prayers will be held on Friday, September 23, 2011 at 7:00 p.m., at Glen Eden Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held Saturday, September 24, 2011 at 11:00 a.m., at Glen Eden Funeral Home, with interment to follow in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens.
