DOROTHY ANN (JOHNSON) SYLVESTER February 2, 1925 - October 21, 2011 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dorothy Ann (Johnson) Sylvester, aged 86, on October 21, 2011 at Boyne Lodge in Carman, Manitoba. Dorothy was predeceased by her beloved husband of 59 and one half years, (William) Lyle Sylvester on November 3, 2003. She is survived by her four children: Joan (Ron Russell); Blake (Pat); Doug, and Nevae; grandchildren: Wayne (Joyce) Sylvester, Denise (Yuri Raduloff), Murray Russell (Gail Stanton), Laurie Sylvester, Kerby Sylvester, and several great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother-in-law Quentin Sylvester; sister-in-law Margaret Johnson; many nieces and nephews; and close family friend Pat Roth who mom considered to be another daughter. The family would like to thank the staff at Boyne Towers and Boyne Lodge in Carman and the staff of Boundary Trails Hospital for their loving care of our mother. At Dorothy's request, a private family service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dorothy's memory to: The Boyne Lodge, Carman; Boundary Trails Hospital, Morden, or to the Carman United Church.
