DORIS CATHERINE DOBLEE (nee CAMERON) July 8, 1917 - November 26, 2011 Doris Doblee passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, at Bethany Harvest Hills on Saturday, November 26, 2011 at the age of 94 years. Doris was born in Kincaid, Saskatchewan, where she lived, went to school and worked on the family farm, until moving to Moose Jaw to work for Johnstone Dairies. In Moose Jaw, she met and married the love of her life, Joe. He served in the Canadian Army, stationed at the West Coast. Following wartime, they moved to Winnipeg to raise their family. Doris was a long time employee of T. Eaton Co. in their main store. Doris was kind, loyal, generous, and gifted with great talents in the kitchen. Her family was the most important part of her life and her favourite occupation was grandparenting. Her strength, rooted in her deep faith, inspired us. She was a member of Calvary Temple when she lived in Winnipeg. Doris will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Donna (William); son Jim (Samantha); daughter-in-law Darlene; grandchildren: Tracey (Jeff), Scott (Tracey), Heather (Owen), Catherine (Adam), Jennifer (Enzo), and nine great-grandchildren: Josh, Isaac, Jack, Lachlan, Hayleigh, Olivia, Aidan, Lorenzo, Marcello. She was predeceased by her loving husband Joseph, son Brian, and infant daughter, Carol Ann. A celebration of Doris' life will be held on Friday, December 2, 2011 at 11:00 a.m., at Neil Bardal Funeral Centre, 3030 Notre Dame Avenue (across from Brookside Cemetery).
