ROBERT (BOB) NOYES Robert (Bob) Noyes passed away at the Deer Lodge Centre on Tuesday, November 29, 2011. A celebration of his life will take place at The Heather Curling Club, 120 Youville Street (at Yardley) on Monday, December 5, at 2:00 p.m. Longer notice to follow. ROBERT RAYMOND (BOB) NOYES 1935 - 2011 On November 29, 2011, Bob passed away peacefully at The Deer Lodge Centre following a lengthy illness. Born and raised in Winnipeg, Bob attended school in Norwood and St. Vital. Bob's passion for sports included hunting, fishing, golf and curling. As a lifetime member of the Heather Curling Club, he served a term as President and was Chairman of the Building Committee, overseeing the construction of the club at its present site. After residing in Edmonton with his family for many years, Bob moved to Arizona to set up his What-a-Saw business. He returned to Winnipeg in 1997 and resumed his position on the Board of Directors at Heather Curling Club as the Building Chairman. Predeceased by his parents, Robert and Mayme Noyes; his wife Orla (nee Robison); and brother Guy Noyes. Bob is survived by his children, Dawn Noyes, Debbie Hammond (Don), Jeff Noyes (Jennifer). Sisters, Lorna Watson, Colleen Reynolds; stepsister Heather Baker; stepbrother Ross MacDonald; and beloved grandchildren, Chris Hammond (Leah), Bretton Hammond and Lauren Hammond. Cremation and private family burial have taken place. A celebration of Bob's life will take place on Monday, December 5, 2011 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Heather Curling Club, 120 Youville Street. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Boniface General Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
