ELTON PAVLICK With great sadness, the family announces the passing of Elton Pavlick of Whitemouth Lake, Manitoba on Friday, November 25, 2011 at Bethesda Hospital in Steinbach. Dad was born on April 12, 1928 at Whitemouth Lake, the third child of Albert and Nellie Pavlick. Dad spent his entire life at the Lake and could not imagine living anywhere else. In 1952, he married the love of his life Rose Poschner. Together they had four children. Left to cherish his memory are his sister Jean, and his children Gordon (Doris), Debbie Prasek (Kelley), Danny (Wendy), and Bob (Connie). Dad also leaves his eight grandchildren: Ainsley (Brent), Alicia (Charlie), Chase, Meghan, Cory, Brady, Dane and Jade, and two great-grandchildren Ashton and Jaxson. His numerous nieces and nephews and their families will greatly miss Uncle Elton. Also left behind are the many friends and neighbours that he loved to spend time with. He sincerely appreciated their friendship. Although he lived alone for many years he was never lonely. Dad was predeceased by Mom in 1984 and also by his parents and six siblings over the years: Henry, Jimmy, Melvin, Rudy, Leon, and Gladys. A Celebration of Dad's life will be held on Saturday, December 3 at 11:00 a.m., at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, 150 Penfeld Dr., Steinbach. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, they may donate to CancerCare Manitoba, 1109 - 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9.
