ELIZABETH RUBY ESTER PINCHIN Ruby passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 1, 2011 at the age of 90. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Dorothy and sons, Robert (Judy), Bill (Francis) and Ken (Leslie), and her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Ruby was born March 13, 1921 in Roblin, Manitoba and grew up on a farm the eldest daughter in a large blended family. In 1939 she married Louis Pinchin and they made their home in Winnipeg. Ruby was a strong independent woman who, in addition to raising four children, worked at several occupations including running a boarding house, driving a taxi and switchboard operator at Deer Lodge Hospital. In retirement she loved to travel, cook for family gatherings and go out with friends to the legion. Ruby was a feisty, out spoken, spirited person who loved a rousing fiddle tune and a good laugh. She will be missed very much.
