MARCIA FATIMA COSTA MENESES It is with great sadness that we grieve the sudden passing of Marcia Meneses. Marcia passed away peacefully on the evening of December 1, 2011, at 31 years of age, at Deer Lodge Centre. Lovingly remembered by her parents Francisco and Maria Irene, brother Silvio (Jacqui), niece Abigail and goddaughter Gabriella. Marcia also leaves to mourn her Grandmother in Portugal as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends both in Winnipeg and abroad. Marcia's family and many, many friends will miss her greatly. Her vibrant nature and infectious laugh will be remembered by all who knew her and will be with us always. A Service of Remembrance will be held at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue on Wednesday, December 7 at 10:00 a.m., with interment to follow. In lieu of flowers, her family requests that donations be made in Marcia's memory to the Health Sciences Centre Foundation, MS 107, 820 Sherbrook Street, Winnipeg, MB R3A 1R9 or Deer Lodge Centre Foundation, Lodge 5, 2109 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3J 0L3. The family wishes to thank the amazing staff at Health Sciences Centre and Deer Lodge for their compassionate care where Marcia spent the last few months, as well as the MPI Case Workers for their assistance.
