I know I should have put down something sooner but 2011 was a bad year for me as I lost my mom and my aunt and my 20 year old cat and my 12 year old cat and then saw that Jeff has passed too. Too much in such a short time. Jeff worked for Reimer Express when I first met him as I was with Consolidated Freightways and he was our sales-person to contact as Reimer would take the freight from Winnipeg to various Saskatchewan ports and would come in EVERY SINGLE WEDNESDAY WITH DONUTS AND COFFEE FOR ALL. He was amazing at looking after us when issues came up with the freight and was an all-round super person. I had some personal issues in 1983 and he was so very kind to me -- just like a father figure and even had me over to his house for a meal and Ann was so sweet and kind and they really helped me through the issues. The family was very tight-knit so I know how much they would have suffered when he passed on but know he is in Heaven and joking around as he loved to smile and joke around and I miss that. Jeff, you were a sweet, dear friend for about 25 years and you did me so many favors when freight problems came up and for that I will be eternally thankful. R.I.P. Jeff and will see you (hopefully way down the road) when I am called home. Bye for now kiddo. Take care Jeff..... - Posted by: DIANNE MANDRYK SPRY (KNEW THROUGH ABOUT 25 YEARS OF WORKING THROUGH TRANSPORTATION) on: Dec 12, 2014
