ANNETTE WARUN (nee FEDIRCHUK) Annette (Nellie) Warun, age 95 passed away peacefully on Monday morning, December 5, 2011 at the Holy Family Home. Nellie was predeceased by her husband Dmytro (Matt) Warun, parents, Jacob and Wasilina Fedirchuk, sisters, Anne, Mary, Kaye and Elsie as well as brothers, Bill, Jim, Peter, John, Dan and Mike. Nellie will be lovingly remembered by her sisters, Molly, Phyllis, and Joan as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Nellie was born in Caliento, MB on November 20, 1916. In 1945, she met and married Dmytro (Matt) Warun, her life long partner. They spent many happy years together, celebrating their 64 years of marriage on June 23, 2009. Nellie enjoyed many years of working as a seamstress and model for Stall and Sons Sewing Factory. Her interests included travelling, sewing, family get-togethers, cooking and needle work. Several of Nellie's pieces of needlework were donated and are on display at the Holy Family Home. The family would like to thank the SSMI and all the staff at the Holy Family Home who took such wonderful care of Nellie. We are grateful for the love and support provided. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, December 9 at 10:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. with Fr. Isidore Dziadyk, O.S.B.M. officiating. Interment to follow at Holy Family Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Nellie's memory to Holy Family Home. 586-8044
