Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWILLIAM (BILL) LEONARD GREIPL April 3, 1950 - December 4, 2011 It is with heavy hearts and sadness that the family announces the passing of our brother and son after a short illness of cancer Bill is survived by his loving mother Elizabeth (Betty) Greipl; brothers Bob and Brian (Kathy) and family; and sisters Diane (Andy) and family and Janice. Bill was predeceased by his father Leonard in 1959 and his older sister Heather Gail in 1957. Bill was a real family man and loved his nephew Jullian (Anna) and niece Kali spending many hours with them when they were growing up. He was also a great uncle to Kelly, Tyler and Ivy who liked to play with their uncle Billy. Bill enjoyed family gatherings and discussing the good old days. Bill was a very generous man and was always first to offer his help. He often talked about his times with his cousins and relatives, especially his times with his cousin Lyle Nadon. Bill, you will always be remembered and loved by your family and how you helped us all in your own way. You were an extremely tidy person and an immaculate dresser always and no one could take that away from you. Rest in peace now our brother and dear son. A very special thanks to Bob for the compassionate care and support he gave to Bill during his time of need. Bob, heartful thanks to you from your family. Lean on us now for support. As per Bills wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held at a later date. Donations can be made to the cancer society of Winnipeg.
