Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJAMES BROWN MITCHELL It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of James B. Mitchell (Mitch) aged 73 years of St. Pierre-Jolys, MB, on Friday, December 9, 2011. He will be remembered and forever missed by his wife of 52 years, Carol; his children, Jim (Roni) and Don (Alma); his grandchildren, Reece, Devon, Brett, Dan and Sheldon; his sisters, Maxine Mardell and Sandra O'Connor; sister-in-law, Marlene Rhinhart; brother-in-law, Grant (Bobbie) Grimard; and many nieces and nephews. Mitch was predeceased by his parents, Lillian and Stuart Mitchell, Aunt Evelyne and Uncle Wally Moffatt, brother-in-law Bernie O'Connor and Bill Rhinhart as well as nephew Pat O'Connor. Mitch was born on July 30, 1938, in Brandon, and grew up in Brookdale and Winnipeg, MB. He joined the Air Force at the age of 17. After 20 years of service, he went to work for Winnipeg School Division until he retired in 2003. He made numerous friends in the course of his careers. Mitch was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, who enjoyed spending his time with his family. His hobbies were camping, fishing, hunting and making damn fine meals.
