BEN GIESBRECHT Ben Giesbrecht, passed away on December 14, 2011 at the age of 78 years old, with his family by his side. He enjoyed the outdoors and gardening. He also had a passion for playing music. He is survived by his loving wife, Mary and his son Ken (Frances) Giesbrecht, and their two daughters, Megan and Brooke. His daughters Joan (Rick) Watkins and their children, Dylan and Taylor, and Melody (Greg) and children, Cassandra, Alexandra and Michael and Tianna. Ben will be missed and lovingly remembered by his friends, relatives and family. Our family expresses gratitude for the compassionate care of the staff at the Simkim Centre. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Donations can be made in his honour to the Parkinson Society.
