MADGE WEST LUPUL On a nice, sunny afternoon Auntie Madge's prayers were answered when the Lord took her home to be with Him and her family. Peacefully in her sleep on Saturday, December 17, 2011 our Dear Auntie Madge Lupul passed away at 89 years of age. She is predeceased by her husband Bill Lupul, her parents, Tom and Edith Brown and her sisters and their husbands: Olive (George) Taylor, and Enid (Alex) McLeod. She is lovingly remembered by her nieces and nephews: Sheila (Reid) Valentine, Edith (Erwin) Maskus, Roy (Cori) McLeod, Carol (Glen) Bergson and Ross Taylor and their families. Auntie Madge was born and raised in Charleswood until she married and she and Bill made their home in Fort Richmond. Madge worked for many years at T. Eaton Co. and then at the University of Manitoba. She was an avid painter, reader and loved walking. She will be missed dearly. The family would like to thank the wonderful staff for their care at Thorvaldson Care Centre, Deer Lodge Centre and Charleswood Care Centre. A private family service will take place. Flowers gratefully declined. Donations may be made to the Humane Society or Pet Rescue of one's choice. Edith and Auntie Madge would like to say a special thank you to Sheila for always being there when she was needed. Rest in Peace Auntie Madge.
