Catherine was born in Cowan, Manitoba. She was a long time member of Sherwood Park Lutheran Church. She leaves to cherish her memory, husband Ken; son Gerald (Suzanne); grandsons Matthew and Michael; granddaughter Jenna (Chad); her sisters Ollie and Annette. Catherine was predeceased by her brother Mitchell Mehyden. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 22, 2011 at Sherwood Park Lutheran Church at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Tom Lurvey officiating.
