ORALLO On December 22, 2011 Paulino passed away peacefully at Seven Oaks General Hospital with his beloved wife and family by his side. Dad was 85 years old and was born in Balungao, Pangasinan, Philippines. Dad is predeceased by his parents, Paulino and Adriana, and siblings Avelina, George and Bien. He will be sadly missed by his children: Irene (Mike), Elizabeth, George (Jenny) and his grandson Cayden, his siblings Flor, Andrea and Lillian (Jose), as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Dad was a loving husband, wonderful father and a cherished grandfather. Fifty-two years ago Dad married mom, Clara, the beautiful nurse who caught his eye in the Philippines when he was an intern. Together they left the Philippines to further their studies. Being a Fullbright Scholar dad worked as a Surgeon then later switching to Pathology where he worked at Grace General Hospital for almost 20 years. Dad was a member of Knights of Rizal and many other professional and social organizations. He was also was active in his church. Dad loved to fish and all who knew him will remember his unique sense of humour. Viewing will be held on Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at 7:00 p.m., at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. On Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. the Funeral will be held at St. Paul the Apostle Church located at 2400 Portage Ave. For those who wish to sign the online Guest Book please visit our website. Viewing will be held on Tuesday, December 27, 2011, at 7:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, December 28, 2011, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Paul the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, 2400 Portage Avenue. Longer obituary to follow.
