Catherine was born on December 1, 1914 in Ledwyn, Manitoba. She was one of eight children born to Paul Byra and Anna Kunasz. Catherine was predeceased by her husband Michael, parents, brothers - Michael and John, as well as sisters Diane, Jessie, Jean, Anne and Olive. Catherine leaves to mourn her passing and cherish her memory daughters Gladys McInnes (Lawrence) and Gloria Wiebe (Bryan); grandchildren Cindy Tomiuk (Gordon), Kathy Wiebe (Jay), Larry McInnes, Wesley Wiebe (Tonya), Rodney McInnes and Cory Wiebe (Andrea); great-grandchildren Ashley McInnes, Jenny Zibresky, Amanda Wiebe, Patrick McInnes, Madison Wiebe, Dakota Wiebe, Alexander LaPlante, Makaya Wiebe, and Brandon Wiebe. The family wishes to sincerely thank the staff at St. Joseph's Residence. Nana, you will be forever in our hearts. We love you! A Service will be held on Thursday, December 29 at 10:00 a.m., at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Interment will be held at St. Phillips Cemetery in Arborg. 586-8044
