Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryTHOMAS LORNE LAXDAL After a short stay in the Deer Lodge Centre, Tom passed away on Christmas Eve, December 24, 2011, with Freda, his wife of 59 years and his son, Tom, at his bedside. Tom is also survived by his grandson, Taylor Lockhart of Langley, BC; by his sister, Lorraine (Ted) Bloomer, and by his numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his beloved daughter, Jonina Lockhart in 2009; by his parents, Sam and Carrie; by his brothers, Sam and Gordon, and by his sisters, Georgina and Iona. Tom was born and raised in Charleswood and with the exception of three years in the Royal Canadian Navy, lived in the area his entire life. He spent most of his working years in construction, mainly for M.T.S., retiring in 1988. Tom will be missed by Tiffanie who visited him in Deer Lodge daily, right to his last day. The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to the staff of the Deer Lodge Centre, Tower 7 North for all the care and compassion given to Tom during his stay. Cremation has taken place. I didn't meet Bun until much later in life. What a handsome boy he was and how like Tommy. I'm glad he's not in pain any more, but we will miss him. I know how he loved Tiff. She will probably miss him most of all for a litle while. - Posted by: Brenda (Sister-in-law) on: Jan 01, 2012
