Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLOUIS JOSEPH BLAIS It is with saddened hearts that we announce the passing of Louis Blais, beloved husband and father, on December 21, 2011 with his family by his side. Louis was born on August 25, 1931 and lived in Winnipeg. Louis was predeceased by his parents, four sisters, three brothers, two sons, Kelvin and Mark. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Edna; and children, Louis (Giselle), Armand, Bruce, Brenda (John), Mabel (Maurice), Harvey, 23 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren; brother Rene (Georgette); sisters, Mamie and Rose (Williams). Louis was a great father, grandfather, great-grandfather that will be sadly missed. We would like to thank the staff at St. Boniface Hospital, staff at The Nova Vista Park Lodge for the care of our beloved Louis. The memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 29, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Chapel Lawn www.chapellawn.mb.ca 885-9715

i enjoyed visiting with louis i always enjoyed listening to him reminicinc his younger days in st.vital and when he worked in st.laurent with my great uncles during haying and they would snare rabbits. i will miss those stories but never forget them, and the sound of his laughter is still in my memory. - Posted by: dave normand (friend/cousin) on: Dec 28, 2011

LOUIS WORKED FOR ME MANY YEARS. HE WAS A VERY GOOD AND DEPENDABLE EMPLOYEE. I WILL ALWAYS HAVE GOOD MEMORIES OF HIM AND THE TIME WE WORKED TOGETHER. MY LAST VISIT WITH LOUIS WAS LAST SUMMER AT THE HOME AND TALK ABOUT THE GOOD OLD TIME.
