GLADYS PEARSON 1914 2011 Peacefully, on Thursday, December 22, 2011, following a lengthy illness, Gladys Pearson passed away at West Park Manor. She will be remembered, and greatly missed by her sons, Doug (Ruth) and Nick (Shannon); grandchildren, Suzanne (Glenn), Christine (Neal), Mike (Becky) and Nancy (Robert) as well as great-grandchildren, Eric, Mark, Patrick, Ben, Katie and Tristan, brother-in-law Robert (Joe) Garland and many friends. Gladys was predeceased by her husband of 58 years, Robert Matthews Pearson, in 1994. She was also predeceased by her parents, Lucy and Frederick Hill, her sister Olive, her brother-in-law, Jock Cameron, and sisters-in-law Kay Cameron and Dorothy Garland. A long time resident of Windsor, Ontario, Gladys moved to Winnipeg in 1997, and resided at the Wellington, moving to the West Park Manor in 2011. Many thanks to the nurses and health care providers at West Park Manor for their care and support. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday December 30, 2011, at Thomson Funeral Home. Interment will take place in the spring in Windsor, Ontario. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
