ANIELA RUNZER It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Aniela Runzer on Friday, December 30, 2011 with her husband and daughter by her side. Aniela will always be lovingly remembered by her husband William, daughter Isabel (Kent), stepson Roger and her two grandchildren Anton and Hanna. Aniela was predeceased by her brother Aleksander Rolczak, grandson Karl Haase, mother Antonina Rolczak (nee Dropinska), father Jozef Rolczak and first husband Wlodziermz Kapryniak. Aniela was born in Lodz, Poland on January 23, 1935 sharing the same birthday as her brother. Aniela led an interesting but difficult life during her youth in Poland. Upon marrying her sweetheart and brothers best friend she immigrated to Canada in 1961. Losing her husband in 1980, Aniela did not think that she would have another chance at happiness. Lo and behold, along comes Billy' who could make her smile and laugh and opened up a new world of possibility and adventures including travel and outsmarting Bill at the one-handed slot machine. Mom also enjoyed cooking and making some very unique creations for Bill to enjoy - whether he wanted to or not. Mom could sew anything and did so to her heart's content. As well, she had the magical green thumb for gardening. She enjoyed her grandchildren immensely, taking her silly bunnies out on excursions or talking to them on the phone always brought a smile to her face. The grandkids loved to test her with their smarts, but she always managed to outwit them with her own antics. We will miss you Ma, Mama and Grandma. A memorial service will be held at Klassen Funeral Home, 1897 Henderson Hwy on Friday, January 6, 2012 at 10:00 am. officiated by Rev. Mary Lysecki. Thank you to the doctors and staff of the Seven Oaks Hospital emergency with their patience, gentleness and caring word each day mom attended for treatment. A special thanks to Dr. Wanono who was there at the end of Mom's life making it as comfortable as possible. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to The CancerCare Manitoba Foundation, 1160 - 675 McDermot Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9 or at: cancercarefdn.mb.ca. Arrangements entrusted to: KLASSEN FUNERAL HOME 1897 Henderson Hwy. 338-0331 Send expressions of sympathy at www.mem.com.

I never knew how much I would miss you each and every day. I am so happy I told you each day I loved you and spent the last ten days of your life not knowing you were going home with the angels. I'm glad you are not suffering with pain anymore even though our discovery of your illness was found out ten days into this whirlwind of chaos. Love you forever even though many question our love for each other. - Posted by: Isabel (Daughter) on: Apr 22, 2012

My sincere condolences to Aniela's family members. I often think about the childhood memories that we shared and all of the good times. It is with a heavy heart that I say farewell, until we meet again! - Posted by: Teresa Capizzi (Childhood friend of the family) on: Jan 04, 2012
