Date of Passing: Jan 01, 2012
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCHRISTOPHER JONATHON CHABOT It is with great sadness that we mark the sudden passing of Christopher Jonathon Chabot on January 1, 2012. Chris will be remembered lovingly as our son, nephew, cousin and friend. Chris leaves to mourn his loss his fiancée Leah Cathro and daughter Harley, his mother Louanne Chabot, Uncle Chubb and Aunt May Chabot, cousins Nicole (and husband Martin) and Joel, his Aunt Yvonne and Uncle Chuck Neufeld, and Cousins Amanda Toffen and Sean Neufeld. Chris was predeceased by his grandparents Lou and Bertha Chabot. We take comfort in knowing that he is with them again now; those close to him know that they were a very important part of Chris' life. Chris had many friends and will be missed by many with whom he shared his all-too brief life, but few more than the family, friends and colleagues at the family business L. Chabot Enterprises Ltd. Chris worked in the family construction business started by his grandfather for many years, most recently as a Supervisor. Celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 7 at 10:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Interment after reception at Sunnyside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a trust fund has been set up for stepdaughter Harley Cathro-Martin and Baby Chabot. Donations may be made at any Cambrian Credit Union. 586-8044

I am truly saddened for the loss of a great childhood friend. Chris and I attended Sherwood school together when we were kids. I have great memories of Chris teaching me how to ride dirt bikes and just hanging out watching movies. Chris and his family were always good to me when I was young and when I needed someone to lean on. You will truly be missed. My deepest condolences go out to the Chabot family. - Posted by: Kieth Hill (Friend) on: Jan 06, 2012
