Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDAVID CAYER David Cayer was born December 22, 1921 and passed away peacefully on January 5, 2012. David resided in Vassar, MB for most of his life. Chalet Malouin, St. Malo was home for 15 years and lastly Vita Personal Care Home. David was predeceased by his wife Antoinette; his parents Albert and Alma, brother Raymond, sisters Aurore Levesque and Grace Lamy. He is survived by brothers Richard, Cub (Joyce), sisters Francis Rempel, Lorraine Sinclair, Gert Cote, Gail Hunter (Richard) and Judy Preteau. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, January 10, 2012 at 1:30 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, 150 Penfeld Dr., Steinbach. I was always happy he found love with Antoinette. Uncle David was the quietest one of the bunch, it seemed. He was always gentlemanly with a sense of humour that would come out of nowhere. Before he passed, he had a birthday party that seemed to almost get out of hand, they were having so much fun! So I'm also glad he had that joy and felt the love of his friends and family.
