DENIS BRUNEAU On January 8, 2012, after a courageous battle with lung cancer, Denis passed away at the age of 85. He was predeceased by his wife Kay; parents Raymond and Emile; brothers Donat and Helaire; sisters Delima, Irene and Agathe. His memory will be forever cherished by his children Norman (Pat), Marlene, Gordon (Dodie); granddaughter Debbie (Jim); great-grandchildren Jordan and Caignaan; brothers Emile (Rose), David (Fay), Real (Esther); sisters Fern, Mary and Germaine as well as numerous extended family and friends. Denis worked for the City of Winnipeg Water Works for 24 years. Dad was a devoted husband and father who loved spending time with his family and extended family of whom he was very proud. He was a longtime, faithful, active member of the St. Mary's Anglican Church. Dad loved to travel and especially enjoyed the 30 years that he spent with his wife Kay at the trailer at Poplar Bay. His many hobbies included traveling, fishing, tinkering and fixing lawnmowers and anything else for neighbours and friends. He will be sadly missed by many friends including those at McDonalds, Eastern Star Chalet and in the Charleswood area, and as well by all who knew and loved him. Visitation will be on Friday, January 13, 2012 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. also at the Funeral Home. The family wish to express their heartfelt thanks to Doctors Frederick Ross, Pat Harris and Lawrence Homik. Also thanks to the Palliative Care staff of St. Boniface Hospital and the staff and residents of the Eastern Star Chalet. Special thanks to Agnes Geisbrecht his friend and companion for the last year and a half. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cancer Society. Chapel Lawn www.chapellawn.mb.ca 885-9715

You have left me wonderful memories to treasure. The days when we would sit around the kitchen table drinking coffee and eating monster dough bread that Kay made.
