ERNA (MYRTLE) BUECHLER Erna (Myrtle) Buechler (nee Grahn) of Brandon, MB, formerly of Moosehorn, MB, passed away on January 8, 2012 at the age of 103. Myrtle was born in Winnipeg, MB, on January 17, 1908. She was raised in Moosehorn, MB. She married Julius Buechler on November 14, 1929. Myrtle and Julius had two sons, Henry (1930) and Gerald (1941). Myrtle was predeceased by her parents William and Julianna, her husband Julius (1951), her sister Emily, her brothers Harold, Albert, Robert, Elmer and her son Henry. Myrtle leaves to cherish fond memories to her son Gerald (Eleanor) of Brandon and two grandchildren Lori (Eugene) Michaluk and great-granddaughter Jenna of Dauphin; Cindy (Regan) Wruth and great-granddaughter Rylee of Forrest, MB; also her brother Jack (Della) Grahn of Surrey, BC; sisters Edna Metner of Calgary, AB, Emma Metner of Moosehorn and Helen Klapprat of Moosehorn. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 14, 2012 at the Peace Lutheran Church in Moosehorn, MB with Pastor Erwin Tippel officiating. Viewing will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment to follow in the Peace Lutheran Cemetery.
