Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOHN PATRICK O'CONNOR On Tuesday, January 10, 2012, John (Jack) Patrick O'Connor, of Deer Lodge Nursing Home, age 89 years, passed away. Jack was born in Winnipeg on July 4, 1922. He is survived by his four children, Susan (Don) Rischuk, Nancy Wilson, Linda (Doug) Campbell and Janet (Scott) Stanley. Jack is also survived by the children of his second wife, Marion, Don (Shirley) Meakin, Ken (Debbie) Meakin, Marilyn (Darryl) Burdiak and Barb (Dale) Tallas; plus six grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife Marion, his parents Joseph Patrick O'Connor, Elizabeth (Bellis) O'Connor and his brother William Henry O'Connor. Jack was a member of the Canadian Armed Forces for 25 years and was also a member of the A.N.A.F. A Memorial reception will be held on Monday, January 16, 2012, at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Deer Lodge Foundation. So sorry I can't be there to give tribute in person. Have had heavy duty surgery on leg, & cannot walk, also lots of pain. Thinking of both families, & lots of memories of good times with Marion & Jack. - Posted by: Margaret Berg (Old Friend) on: Jan 16, 2012
