Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHELEN MAMROCHA (nee OKRAINEC) Peacefully on Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at Seven Oaks Hospital, Helen Mamrocha passed away at the age of 78, with family by her side. Helen is predeceased by her beloved husband Joseph, brothers Dan and Emil and sister Jean. She is survived by her children Angie (Bill), Larry (Breeze), Raymond (Noreen), and Joan; grandchildren Blair, Jennifer, Cindel, Chase, Jodi, Kelsey, Tanner, Donna and Shawn; great-grandchildren Dante, Dahya, Vivien, Abigail and Morgan; brothers Jim (Bernice) and Frank (Leona) and sisters Joyce, Katie and Mary. She is also survived by special friends Walter, Danny, Mike and Cindy. Funeral service will be held on Monday, January 16, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street, with reception to follow. Interment will follow the reception at Allegra Cemetery. Special thanks to Seven Oaks Hospital ICU staff for all the care and support shown to Helen. Aunt Helen, you will be dearly missed. You were a very special lady who touched the hearts of many. You were always smiling and so welcoming and the best perogy maker ever! It was always a treat to get a package of Aunt Helen's perogies when someone would return from Manitoba. We would actually fight over them! Hopefully you taught Joan well.
