DOROTHY DORSET (nee JENNER) It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dear mother on Sunday, January 15, 2012 at the age of 86 years. Dorothy will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by Don, her husband of 54 years; children, Loreen (James) and Brent (Sherry); grandchildren, Ryan, Chelsea, Troy and Hailey; sister Beth (Larry); sister-in-law Teenie and many nieces and nephews. Mom was born and raised in Winnipeg working for many years in the Food Services Department of Eaton's before leaving to raise her children. After spending many years being a stay-at-home Mom, she returned to the workforce at Screen Print until her retirement in 1987. Mom and Dad were members at the Elmhurst Golf and Country Club and enjoyed having dinner there with friends and family with their winter vacations being spent in Hawaii and Wesalco, Texas. Our loving mother will be remembered for her caring, thoughtful, generous and warm-hearted nature. Memorial service will be held on Friday, January 20, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Friends Funeral Service, 2146 Main Street. If friends so desire, donations may be made in memory of Dorothy to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 200-6 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6.
