Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryFLORENCE ELIZABETH CHANCE (WIONZEK) Unexpectedly on Monday, January 16, 2012, Florence Elizabeth Chance passed away peacefully in her sleep, at the age of 66. Born April 14, 1945 to Stanley and Stella, Florence leaves to mourn her estranged husband, but best friend, Frank Gary Chance, sisters: Caroline Starkewski, daughters Kim (Grant) and Connie (Ron), son Paul (Evi); Ollie Streich (Gary), daughter Shelley, son Ken; Sylvia Brookwell, daughter Penny (Ian) and son Dean (Jeanine); Dolores Thatcher (Lau), sons Jason (Charlotte) and Chad, and brother Edward Wesst (Connie), son David (Sarah), along with numerous great-nieces and nephews. Florence will also be sadly missed by Monica, her best friend for over 41 years and her daughters Gerri and Debbie, and son Eddy. Flo was predeceased by both parents, brothers-in-law, Ernie Starkewski and Elbert Brookwell, and nephew Allan Brookwell. Flo attended Riverview and Churchill High Schools, leaving school at an early age to work at a variety of jobs and was currently working at housekeeping for seniors and veterans. Florence had a huge heart and was always willing to provide help and give her time to anyone in need. She loved her pets, Puss, Boots, Prince, Marty and finally The Duchess of Garfield . A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, January 23, 2012 at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street, with interment to follow at a later date. Sorry Gary and I are unable to attend Flo's service, because of health reasons and the weather. We both can't stop thinking about Flo, since we got the terrible news.
