SUSAN BARBARA MOSS (nee BROWNRIDGE) With grace and courage, and family and friends surrounding her, Susan died peacefully in the Health Sciences Centre on January 18, 2012. Condolences & Memories (11 entries)

  • In 2008, I bought the old Brownridge farm house and in 2010 we were renovating. In the wall I noticed a piece of papaer at the bottom. I thought I should look at it. It was a note from a 13 year old girl named Susan Brownridge, she said when her birthday was and it was her dad who owned the home. It was dated for June 1962. At the time I tried to get ahold of her but didn't know how. I'd love it if someone could get back to me at avec442@hotmail.com Thanks - Posted by: Shane Young (New house owner) on: May 23, 2012

  • I was so very sad to learn of Susan's illness and ultimate passing on January 18, 2012. She was a tremendously kind and friendly lady who will be sadly missed by all of us who had the privilege of working with her at Children's Hospital. My deepest sympathies to her friends and family. - Posted by: Gerald Brennan (Colleague) on: Jan 23, 2012

  • I knew Susan as a student coming to spend time 35 years ago and then as a co-worker for the past 20 years. We shared many recipes, hockey mom stories, and later stories of our sons' antics. To show how giving Susan could be, When I had surgery on my foot, I was hosting dinner-club the next week. Susan made one of her wonderful cakes so I would have a cake up to the event. Many thanks, you will not be forgotten. - Posted by: Susan Thomson (friend and co worker) on: Jan 23, 2012

  • Susan was a lovely and brave woman who had the most beautiful yard on the block and baked the best brownies in the world! She will be sadly missed and never forgotten. Sincere condolences to Ryan, Pudgie, and the family. - Posted by: Evelyn Harrison (Friend and neighbour) on: Jan 23, 2012

  • I trained and worked with Susan at the old Children's Hospital. I remember her as a sincere and kind person. I was honored to be able to visit and sit with her during her time in Palliative Care at the St.Boniface Hospital, and be a part of her final journey. My thoughts are with you Ryan...your mom will be with you always. - Posted by: Gerri Wilkinson (Friend) on: Jan 22, 2012

  • I first met Susan when she became a Radiology student at Children's Hospital (1969). At that time I was also a student and found Susan to be genuine, cheerful, kind and always willing to assist and lend a hand. She was a delight to know and I am sure many of her friends will miss her gentle and kind nature. My sincere condolences to her family. - Posted by: Jennifer Matthews (students in Radiology at Children's Hospital) on: Jan 22, 2012

  • I had the honor of meeting Susan over the past several years as part of our Goddess group and once I met her, our friendship flourished. With her radiant, gorgeous smile, she would light up any room. She was so lovely, inside and out and by far one of the most sweetest, kindest ladies I've met. You have left us way too soon, but Heaven has a beautiful Angel now. Goodbye, Susan. Rest in peace... - Posted by: Kathie Hewey (Friend) on: Jan 21, 2012

  • I met Susan in 1969. We were both students at Children's Hosp. We both had farm backgrounds so much in common. We had been dear friends since then. After I retired we got together when we could .She would come to Ingolf with food and wine and always some of her wonderful baking. She made our 25 -Anniv.cake and acappachino cake for Roy's 50th birthday. Susan was generous and kind. We will miss her very much and I'm proud to say she was a loyal and loving friend. - Posted by: Tanyss Ward (Friend and co-worker) on: Jan 21, 2012

  • I have known Susan for the past 4 or 5 years, ever since we both joined a group of beautiful ladies called the Goddesses. Susan was all kindness and charm. She always had a smile for everyone and was never afraid to try new things. We shared many laughs together. She was such a kind soul, always mindful of other people's feelings. She would never hurt anyone purposely, not even a fly. She will be missed greatly by all who knew her, particularly by her Goddess friends, past and present. Rest in peace my dear beautiful friend. Maybe you and Michelle can start your own Goddess group up there. Until we meet again. With all my love, Your Goddess sister, Claudine - Posted by: Claudine Davidson (Goddess sister) on: Jan 21, 2012
