ROLF GEORG GROSS January 2, 1936 - January 22, 2012 It is with great sadness, we regret to inform you of the passing of Rolf on January 22, 2012 at Grace General Hospital with his wife and daughter at his side. He was predeceased by his mother and father Pauline and Robert, his brother Gerhardt, and his sisters Ruth and Maria. He will be lovingly remembered as Ole by his devoted wife Ingelore, Dad by his daughter, Birgit (Garry), Opa by his grandchildren, Jennifer (Ken), Melissa (Shawn), and great-grandchildren, Chloe, Chase and Skylar. He also leaves to mourn his nieces, Ursula, Heidi, Elke and their families; his nephews, Peter Anderson and Peter Gross and families; and all his wonderful friends he has met throughout the years. A very special Thank you to all the nurses and doctors on the third floor at the Grace General Hospital. Especially Ryan and Wendy, for their kindness, support and respect. God saw you getting tired, and a cure was not meant to be, so He put His arms around you, and whispered Come to Me with tearful eyes we watched you, as we saw you pass away, Although we loved you deeply, we could not make you stay, your Golden Heart stopped beating hard working hands at rest, God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best Funeral service will be held on Friday, January 27, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Cancer Society Manitoba Division, 193 Sherbrook Street, Winnipeg, MB R3C 9Z9.
