I'm sitting here in my den thinking what happened to my old friend B.J. I knew him when he was on his mission in Las Vegas, NV. So I googled him. I'm so sad to hear he passed away. He came back to Vegas after his mission to live with my family. I still have the guitar he bought when he was in Vegas. Now when I play it, I'll think about him and all the fun we had. Will look forward to seeing you again B.J. Pat - Posted by: Patrick Compton (friend on his mission in Las Vegas) on: May 28, 2012

Big warm wishes of peace and blessing to carry you on your way BJ. You gave our family a lot - and I know you made a great impression on this go round, on this planet. I am sure you are jammin' in the heavens - and we will always hear your tunes! xo - Posted by: Cheryl Cohan (friend) on: Jan 27, 2012

BJ Garrison was a dedicated father, great friend to many, and an incredibly talented musician. Playing guitar, bass, keyboards, drums, mandolin, banjo, & harmonica. BJ had the music in him and there was no stopping it, not even when he was hospitalized. He continued to give performances to friends that visited, staff and other patients. BJ is and was a true entertainer to the very end. His music and memories will live on in our hearts and minds forever! Although music was a big part of BJ's life, I believe that his greatest joy was being a father to Jai, his only son. He was one of the most caring and dedicated fathers I know, his love for Jai was unmeasurable. Bobby Jay Garrison, it was an honor and a privilege to have known you. Rest In Peace my friend, until we meet again. - Posted by: Bridgette Romero (Friend) on: Jan 27, 2012
