LILA BLANCHE MEAD (DYER) January 14, 1943 - January 21, 2012 It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Lila, at the Grace Hospital, on Saturday, January 21, 2012. Lila was a kind and gentle person and will always be loved and missed by her husband, Ken; sisters, Diane Woltmann of Calgary, Pearl Richards (John) and Rose Hill (Ray); along with her sisters-in-law, Irene Nichols (Reg), Ruth Lussier (Leo); brothers-in-law, Ernest, Dennis (Lorraine), Jim (Barbara); as well as many nieces and nephews. Lila was a world traveller and some of her happiest moments were reminiscing about her adventures around the globe with Ken. Lila also had a great love for animals and spoke fondly about her memories of her two princesses and Sabre. The family would like to extend sincere thanks to the paramedics and the staff at the Grace Hospital Emergency for their valiant efforts, care and compassion. Cremation has taken place. There will be a private family service. God saw you getting tired When a cure was not to be So he wrapped his arms around you And whispered, come to me In lieu of flowers, should friends desire, donations may be made in Lila's memory to The Canadian Mental Health Association, Winnipeg Region, 432 Ellice Avenue, Winnipeg, MB, R3B 1Y4 or the Winnipeg Humane Society, 45 Hurst Way, Winnipeg, MB, R3T 0R3. Rest in Peace, Dear Lila. NEIL BARDAL FUNERAL CENTRE (204) 949-2200 www.nbardal.mb.ca
